The Wingham Junior RLFC currently has over 170 junior players, with the junior teams consisting of Under 6’s through to Under 16’s. These teams are coached by dedicated supporters, parents and former league players.

The Wingham Junior RLFC derives great satisfaction from developing young players into local ‘champions’. A great array of champions have come to the Tigers as unknown young players but have left the club to pursue their rugby league careers in the NRL competition. A few of these players include; Micheal Erickson, Paul Carlos, Gary Bridge, Scott Thorburn, Chris Morcombe, Stewart Baker and Micheal Sullivan. Many other juniors have represented Country Rugby League, North Coast and Group 3 with distinction.
It is the intention of the club to nurture and develop local juniors within the area into not only outstanding athletes but also as prominent and respected members of the community.
